What information does this site collect and use?

The TroopTrack site for Trail Life USA functions for the benefit of members, prospective members, Charter Organizations and prospective Charter Organizations to provide information on joining and participating in Trail Life USA and the methods by which interested persons and organizations may affiliate with and support Trail Life USA.

TroopTrack administers and facilitates the registration and management of Troops and members. To that end this site collects personally identifiable information (PII) to facilitate membership registration and participation in our programs. For example, we collect information such as, but not limited to name, address, phone, Date of Birth, gender, and e-mail address of members and parents/guardians. Additional information including, but not limited to Driver's License and Social Security Number, may be collected for leader applicants in order to facilitate background checks of applicants for their participation in Trail Life USA.

Furthermore, program specific information may be collected, tracked and stored to help the member, their parent/guardian and the adult leader facilitate Trail Life USA Troops and Charter Organizations and their programs. Examples would include, but are not limited to an individual's interest, participation, advancement and progress in Trail Life USA. All information collected is used for the facilitation and development of Trail Life USA for the purposes stated above, including assisting prospective members in finding and making contact with Trail Life USA Troops. Trail Life USA never sells information collected.
